The Wynwood times is an alternative digital platform that seeks to bring up topics from counterculture, identity, education, and underground trends, addressed from a different view. All those themes are related to contemporary life and its contradictions. Its aim is to serve as a bridge between Venezuela, Miami, and Spain and generate a space for open discussion. Furthermore, TWT promotes events that involve the cultural diversity in Miami. The Editorial Team chose videos and photography as means of artistic expression, and interviews, chronics, and opinion articles as elements of critical thinking. That is the main structure of this alternative space that pretends to be a motivating factor to develop new ideas.

Residences Supported

For two years we received in our residence more than 30 artists from different parts of the world. Short-term stays of up to 3 months (and a few exceptions) have given us the opportunity to learn, exhibit and nourish from the work of painters, sculptors, photographers, illustrators, curators and multimedia artists that contributed – each in their own fashion – to The Chill Concept and to what, up to February, 2016, we shared in that space.

We currently do not have a residence, but are working on a new one. Keep in touch by subscribing to our bulletin to have news regarding next calls to artists.
